Since it's inception in a store front on Route 59 in Shorewood in 2001,  Louvers Lane has always been a local family owned business.  Our goal, whether we see you in your home, a corporate office or in our shop is to provide personalized quality service.

Since 2003 Bert and Miriam Bolton have overseen the continued growth of the business in a larger commercial space on the west side of Joliet.  Along the way more specialized equipment has been acquired along with specialized professional training (Such as the On-Site Certified Training and the IICRC's Upholstery and Fabric Certification courses).  New capabilities for drapery and fabric cleaning were added to enable us to truly clean just about any window treatment.  As a Hunter Douglas Certified Professional Installer, Bert also has specialized training from a leading manufacturer to back up his practical experience with custom blinds, shades an draperies.  Our shop is uniquely equipped to professionally clean virtually any type of window treatment (including board mounted valences).  Repairs (including but not limited to restringing) of many custom blinds are also done on site.

In a few short years, the business has tripled in size as satisfied clients and decorators continue to refer our services to others.  VERY well known commercial clients (including interior decorators, facility managers, office managers, banks and school districts - whose names we'll not list here for our competitors to read) consult us regarding their window treatment cleaning and maintenance (or replacement) needs.  In many cases our expertise allows us to offer practical solutions that may involve the cleaning and refurbishing or repair of large numbers of blinds that save clients tens of thousands of dollars.
